As part of the dissolution process the club is offering for sale cricket and ground machinery and equipment. The Western District Cricket Union has intimated this to its member clubs, inviting offers. However invitations are invited from any party. Items will be “sold as seen”, with buyers requiring to take/transport at their cost, before 30 April 2023. The items can be viewed at “Shawholm” on Sunday the 9th of April between 2pm and 4pm. Payment in full must be received before an item will be released. After viewing, clubs or individuals interested in purchasing an item should submit a formal offer to the Secretary, before midnight on Tuesday the 11th of April. The club reserves the right to either not sell an item, or to sell to other than the highest bidder. It should be stressed this is not a “fire sale”, and the offers to acquire items should reflect this. The club has no financial need to sell items at lower than fair market prices.
In addition to the listed items there are many other smaller items such as training aids, stumps, bails, ground tools, etc. all of which can be bought on the day.
Please note too that the club is VAT registered and, therefore, VAT will be added to all prices.
The main cricket and ground machinery and equipment can be viewed here.
A note of the highest offers, as they are received, anonymised, will be posted here on the website.
